Mobile Meetup, April 15th In NYC
In a few weeks, in mid-April, I will be in NYC for two days of meetings and events — and to see my family. A quick trip, but I haven’t really been to NYC to meet with startup friends in a long time, and I wanted to change that. If you’re going to be in NYC on Tuesday, April 15th at 4:30pm EDT, I’d like to let you know about a Mobile Meetup that I’ll be speaking at (discussing @SwellApp, among other things), along with some good friends in the industry. To learn more about the Meetup and to sign up for it, click here.
Who is joining me on this panel about mobile?
- @stevecheney, SVP of Business & Operations @ Estimote — Steve is simply the best thinker on the application of integrated hardware and software capabilities inside Apple’s iOS. Period. He does other things, too — such as the former Head of BD for GroupMe (which was acquired by Skype, which was then acquired by Microsoft); a former TechCrunch contributor and active blogger; and now in on the ground floor of the emerging beacon landscape.
- @jordancooper, Co-founder of Wildcard — Jordan wears many hats, and wears them well. He’s a serial entrepreneur, a partner at NYC’s Lerer Ventures, and currently on a mission to build the standard for mobile card interfaces with Wildcard. Jordan, like Steve, has been living on a steady diet of mobile technology for the past few years.
- @spaiji, Creator of Snapette — I don’t know Sarah Paiji, but I’m excited to meet her and learn more about Snapette, her views on shopping, mobile commerce, and more!
Special thanks to good friend @ShaiG from Silicon Valley Bank for organizing this. If you’re interested in mobile (building, investing, etc.), I can guarantee this will be a great discussion. (I’ll be in NYC all day on April 15 and 16th, hope I get a chance to see folks who are there!)
